Two Cell Phones Found; Littering Reported Oct. 9

Thomas L. Vershum, Archbold, turned in two cell phones to the Archbold Police Department, Wednesday, Oct. 17.

Vershum told police the phones were found at the Ruhiley Park basketball court on Aug. 23.

Thinking they possibly belonged to students, the phones were turned over to Archbold Schools.

When the school district could not find the owners, Vershum turned them over to police, who placed them in the lost and found drawer.

An act of littering was reported at the Archbold McDonald’s that occurred at 7:35 pm, Tuesday, Oct. 9.

The report states a group of teenagers went through the drive-thru, purchased an ice cream cone, and then one of the teenagers grabbed the cone by the ice cream. The teen proceeded to throw the cone into the path of traffic.

The report is marked, “investigation pending.”
