Two Cars Crash In Midst Of Thunderstorm Friday

Geraldine M. Fifer, 75, Archbold, and Sharon S. Fellers, 58, Napoleon, were involved in a two-car collision in the midst of a severe thunderstorm Friday, Aug. 24, about 6:02 pm, at the intersection of North Clyde’s Way and East Lutz Road.

The Archbold Police report on the crash states Fellers was traveling south on Clyde’s Way, approaching Lutz Road. The second car, driven by Fifer, prepared to make a left turn onto East Lutz Road. Fifer turned into the intersection and the vehicles collided.

Neither driver was injured, although Archbold Rescue was called to the scene.

Fifer was cited by police for failure to yield the right-of-way while turning left.
