Two men are dead and a third is injured following a single-vehicle mishap on the Ohio Turnpike about 1:58 pm, Wednesday, May 4.
Traffic in the westbound lanes was tied up for several hours. Westbound traffic was required to exit the toll road at the Delta interchange.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol report states a minivan, driven by Daniel Kopplin, 68, Pewaukee, Wis., was traveling west when he went out of control and drove off the left, or south, side of the road. The minivan struck a guardrail.
He was killed along with Kevin Kopplin, 39, Grand Fork, Minn, a back seat passenger.
Andrew Kopplin, 36, Germantown, Wis., was a passenger in the front seat. He was taken to the Fulton County Health Center, where he was treated and released.
