After weeks of negotiations, a drainage tile project north of Archbold is ready to proceed, German Township Trustees learned at their Monday, Nov. 27 meeting.
The project involves the cooperation of three landowners: Derald Seiler, Wayne Dinius, and Lonnie Blosser, all in the area along Co. Rd. F between Co. Rds. 24 and 25.
Old drainage tile will be replaced. The trustees will pick up $2,300 of the project cost, with the landowners dividing the remainder.
Also discussed was drainage tile in the area of Co. Rd. B-C and 25, where old tile is no longer adequate to drain the area. No action was taken on that issue.
The next regular meeting is Monday, Dec. 11, 7 pm.
