Three Sentenced

Sentences were handed down against three people in Fulton County Common Pleas Court on Tuesday, Jan. 24:

•Joey Brown, 36, Delta; previously pled guilty to attempted theft, criminal trespass; on Aug. 12, 2011, attempted to steal copper and aluminum from property near Delta; sentenced to 90 days, Corrections Center of Northwest Ohio, all but 20 days suspended, credit for seven days served; ordered not to commit criminal offenses for one year, pay court costs and attorney fees in six months; have no contact with victim.

•Bruce Michael, Jr., 43, rural Delta; previously pled guilty to domestic violence; on May 3, 2011, had an altercation with a family member; sentenced to 180 days at CCNO, all but 29 days suspended, credit for 29 days served; ordered to pay prosecution costs, complete batterer’s treatment program offered by Center for Child & Family Advocacy; stay out of bars or taverns, possess no alcohol or firearms; have no contact with victim; complete alcohol treatment.

•Pamela Parsons, 48, rural Delta; previously pled no contest to two counts, theft in office; between Jan 1 and April 10, 2009, while employed as a utility clerk by the Village of Delta, she stole $7,581.72; sentenced to 30 days at CCNO beginning Jan. 30; placed on two years community control, ordered to pay cost of prosecution, make restitution; failure to comply could result in 12-month prison sentence.
