Three Recently Sentenced



Two men and a woman were sentenced recently in Fulton County Common Pleas Court:

•Janet Perdue, 43, Lyons; convicted of trafficking in marijuana; sold marijuana on May 31; sentenced to 10 days at the Corrections Center of Northwest Ohio, placed on one year community control; ordered to pay cost of prosecution and attorney fees, receive a drug-alcohol assessment, obtain a general education diploma (GED, stay out of bars-taverns, not possess or consume alcohol or illegal drugs, abide by 10 pm to 6 am curfew, driver license suspended for six months; failure to comply could result in nine-month prison sentence.

•Jason Pontious, 38, Wauseon; previously pled guilty to nonsup- port of dependents; between Aug. 1, 2006 and Jan. 31, 2007, failed to pay child support, resulting in arrearage of $1,503; placed on three years community control, ordered to seek and maintain employment, pay cost of prosecution, attorney fees, comply with the instructions of the child support enforcement agency; failure to comply could result in 11-month prison sentence.

•Melvin Rayoum III, 19, Delta; previously pled guilty to attempted burglary; on April 9, attempted to trespass in a Delta residence; placed on three years community control; ordered to pay cost of prosecution, attorney fees, stay out of bars-taverns, not to possess or consume alcohol; abide by 10 pm to 6 am curfew; ordered to seek and maintain employment, complete SEARCH program; failure to comply could result in 11- month prison sentence.
