A Fulton County Grand Jury handed down indictments against three Archbold men during its Monday, July 17 meeting.
Indictments were handed down against a total of 17 people.
Nicky C. Ramos, 45, Archbold, was indicted on one count of domestic violence and one count of aggravated possession of drugs.
T. Luke Jones, Fulton County prosecuting attorney, said in a press release that on or about June 18, Ramos allegedly caused or attempted to cause physical harm to a family or household member. The indictment specifies Ramos has a previous domestic violence conviction, which elevates the offense to a felony.
Also, Ramos allegedly possessed and sold a controlled substance.
Joshua D. Storrer, 40, Archbold, was indicted on two counts of felonious assault.
The indictment alleges on or about June 1-June 15, 2022, and Dec. 22, 2022- Jan. 23, 2023, Storrer allegedly caused serious physical harm to another.
Christopher J. Honsberger, 32, Archbold, was indicted on one count each of improperly handling a firearm in a motor vehicle, having weapons under disability, and aggravated possession of drugs.
The indictment alleges that on or about June 9, Honsberger allegedly transported a loaded handgun in a motor vehicle while not having been relieved from disability, and was allegedly drug dependent.
Provisions under Ohio law can bar people from owning firearms if they have been convicted of drug-related felonies or felony-level crimes of violence.
The indictments also allege Honsberger possessed methamphetamine.
Others indicted:
•Joshua D. Corley, 38, Wauseon; indicted on one count each, violating a protection order, tampering with evidence; on or about June 11, allegedly violated terms of a protection order issued against him after previously being convicted of that offense; allegedly tampered with evidence in an official proceeding or investigation.
•Benjamin D. Smith II, 39, Oakwood; indicted on one count, aggravated possession of methamphetamine; on or about May 18, allegedly possessed methamphetamine.
•John H. Pratt, 38, Bryan; indicted on one count, aggravated possession of methamphetamine; on or about May 11, allegedly possessed methamphetamine.
•Derek A. Comer, 33, Delta; indicted on one count, aggravated possession of methamphetamine; on or about Oct. 18, 2022, allegedly possessed methamphetamine.
•Jared R. Baumgartner, 28, Wauseon; indicted on one count, possession of cocaine; on or about Feb. 20, allegedly possessed cocaine.
•Kirstan J. Lee, 33, Toledo; indicted on one count, improperly handling firearms in a motor vehicle; on or about June 16, alleged transported a loaded firearm in a motor vehicle.
•Cecilio F. Avila, 32, Swanton; indicted on one count, failure to comply with the order or signal of a police officer; on or about June 15, allegedly failed to comply with an order or signal from a police officer to bring his motor vehicle to a stop, allegedly causing a substantial risk of serious physical harm to persons and property.
•Logan W. Zahner, 27, Wauseon; indicted on one count, domestic violence, two counts of strangulation, one count, abduction; on or about June 17, allegedly caused or attempted to cause physical harm to a family or household member by strangulation and by force or threat, allegedly restrained the liberty of another under circumstances that created a risk of physical harm to the other person or caused fear.
•David A. Lopez, 49, Wauseon; indicted on one count, theft, between Jan. 10-May 16, allegedly stole property valued at $1,000 or more but less than $7,500.
•Shawn C. Quigley, 52, Fayette; indicted on one count each, domestic violence, strangulation; on or about July 1, allegedly caused or attempted to cause physical harm to a family or household member by strangulation.
•Noah E. Johnson, 23, Fayette; indicted on one count, making false alarms; on or about Nov. 19, 2022, allegedly caused a false alarm of emergency services, creating a risk of physical harm to persons or property, and economic harm of more than $7,500 but less than $150,000.
•Randy Keefer, 28, Napoleon; indicted on one count each, domestic violence, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle; on or about June 29, allegedly caused or attempted to cause physical harm to a family or household member and allegedly operated a motor vehicle without the owner’s consent.
•Scott L. Ward, 37, Fayette; indicted on two counts each, operating a vehicle while intoxicated, improperly handing firearms in a motor vehicle, and one count, having weapons while under disability; on or about June 3, allegedly operated a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol or drugs; allegedly transported a loaded handgun in a motor vehicle while under the influence; allegedly, not having been relieved from disability, knowingly had a firearm present and was allegedly alcohol or drug dependent.
•Amber L. Pelland, 42, Montpelier; indicted on one count, aggravated possession of drugs; on or about April 2, allegedly possessed Bromazolam, an illegal drug.
