Three Men Arrested On Assault, Domestic Violence, Theft Charges

Archbold police arrested three men in connection with three separate incidents in the last two weeks.

Anthony C. Parsons, 24, 305 Lincoln St., was arrested Friday, May 31, after an incident at the apartment he shares with Meagan E. Dallas, 22.

Dallas told police the two had been arguing. She told Parsons she was terminating their relationship.

Between 6:15 and 6:30 pm, Parsons allegedly struck a piece of furniture, damaging it, and allegedly pushed Dallas into a door and a couch. He then left the scene.

Police interviewed Parsons, who admitted to pushing Dallas. He was placed under arrest at 8:42 pm at the Archbold police station for domestic violence, and taken to the Corrections Center of Northwest Ohio.

Parsons was released on his own recognizance, Tuesday, June 4.


Logan James Brooks, 18, 408 South Lincoln Street, was arrested at 3:47 pm, Wednesday, June 5, at the police station on a charge of theft in connection with a stolen video game console.

The police report states Jennifer L. Jones, 20, same address, told officers her brother’s video game console, plus some games, were stolen from his bedroom. The theft allegedly occurred sometime between 1 pm, Monday, June 3, and 7 pm the following day.

The report notes the Fulton County Sheriff Department recovered the console, plus some games.

Brooks, who has other charges pending, is being held on a $5,000 cash bond. As of Monday morning, he was still being held at CCNO.


Lucas Craig Halliwill, 27, Hudson, Mich., was arrested on a charge of assault at 12:10 pm, Thursday, June 6.

The APD report states officers were called to 617 North Defiance Street at 11:49 pm, Wednesday, June 5, where Dean F. Richards, 38, Pioneer, reported he had been struck in the face by Halliwill.

Richards was treated for injuries at the Fulton County Health Center, an APD spokesman said.

The report listed Richards’ injury as “apparent minor.”

The report also notes that when arrested, Halliwill’s right hand appeared swollen.

Police arrested Halliwill at the North Defiance Street home. Records available from the Fulton County Auditor office states 617 N. Defiance Street is owned by Sergio Magallaues.

Halliwill was released from CCNO on his own recognizance.
