Three men were sentenced to prison terms in Fulton County Common Pleas Court on Wednesday, Sept. 1, Scott Haselman, Fulton County prosecuting attorney, said in press releases:
•Stephen E. Hansen, 31, Swanton; indicted June 21 on one count, gross sexual imposition; entered guilty plea July 26; had sexual contact with a person under the age of 13; sentenced to 24 months in prison; found to be Tier II sex offender, must register address with sheriff of county in which he resides for 25 years; must verify in person every 180 days.
•William L. Holcomb, 28, Delta, indicted March 15 on two counts, forgery, one count, theft; entered guilty plea to one count of forgery July 1; forged a check; sentenced to 10 months in prison, was ordered to pay $2,180 in restitution to victims.
•Matthew J. Smith, 26, Fayette; indicted March 15 on one count, possession of a Fentanyl-related compound; entered guilty plea July 1; possessed a Fentanyl-related compound. Fentanyl is a prescription painkiller. Court records indicate Smith entered Drug Court program July 2, but motion to revoke own recognizance bond was filed Aug. 20 after reports of failed drug tests; sentenced to 11 months in prison.
