Thieves Hit Pop Machines

A thief or thieves hit two pop machines in the village during the weekend of Oct. 30-31, Archbold police reports say.

Ray Kinsey, Archbold, told police a pop machine he owns at 218 E. Holland St. was burglarized sometime between 8 pm, Saturday, Oct. 30 and 1 pm, Sunday, Oct. 31.

The machine’s lock was damaged and the coin collection container stolen, along with about $100 in cash. Total loss: $120.

Jake Dominique, Archbold, told police a pop machine at his business, The Pop Shop, was hit sometime between 7 pm, Oct. 30 and 1 pm, Oct. 31.

As in the Kinsey case, the lock was damaged, and the coin changer mechanism stolen. Total loss: $30.

Police reports state there are no subjects in either case.
