A subject stole about $30 in cash from the Archbold Dollar General store about 5:45 pm, Sunday, Feb. 6, an Archbold police report states.
A male subject entered the store with a number of items to return for cash.
A representative of the store reported the thief allegedly slipped other items from the store shelves into the items he wished to return.
The clerk gave the man refunds for items he did not actually purchase.
Police are investigating the incident.
