Theobald, Ramirez, Wyse Are First Team All-District In Soccer

Trey Theobald, an AHS senior, Quinn Wyse, a PHS junior, and Regan Ramirez, an AHS senior, were named First Team All-District by the Northwest Ohio Scholastic Soccer Coaches Association for the 2020 season in boys and girls soccer.

Zakkai Kaufmann, a PHS junior, was named Second Team All-District in boys soccer.

Reagan Kohler, an AHS junior, was named to the Second Team in girls soccer.

Receiving honorable mentions were Archbold’s Kyler Boulton, Krayton Kern, and Karson Rufenacht; Pettisville’s Blake Eyer and Ben Morris; and Archbold’s Grace Mayer and Leah McQuade.

Ramirez and Theobald were selected to play in the senior district all-star games on Sunday, Nov. 15.

Other NWOSSCA Awards

James Kidder, AHS head girls coach, was named a 200-victory milestone winner. He also received the Albert Laux Award, which is for 20 years or 200 wins as the head coach of a single high school.

Theobald, Mayer, Ramirez, Camryn Hudson, Macy Peterson, Sean Hageman, Daniel Oyer, and Miles Rupp, received NWOSSCA Academic Awards.

The awards are given to senior varsity players for high academic achievement of at least a 3.7 gpa for their high school careers.
