Thefts Reported To Local Police

Two reports of theft were recently filed with the Archbold Police Department.

Andrew Ball, 16, 104 Rosewood Court, told police on Sunday, June 24, that a package containing a pair of citizens band radio antennas were stolen from the bed of his pickup truck when it was parked in front of his residence. Value: $37.40.

The antennas were last seen Saturday, June 23, about 5 pm.


Carlos Reyes Jr., 37, 710 N. Defiance St., reported that about 4 am, Thursday, June 28, someone came to his door and attempted to open it. A juvenile in the home heard the incident.

On other occasions, people have looked in the windows of his house, or were looking around the garage.

He requested extra patrols of the neighborhood.


Logan D. Boetz, 11, Stryker, told officers on Sunday, June 24, that a bag, towel, pair of short pants, along with $21 in cash was stolen from the mens changing room at the Archbold swimming pool. Loss: $76.

The theft occurred between 3 and 3:30 pm.
