Several theft cases were report to Archbold police during the first week of May.
A 15-year-old Archbold girl told police on Monday, May 1, that her pink and orange wallet was taken from her other belongings that were left in an Archbold High School hallway between 12:10-12:45 pm that day.
The wallet contained a gift card valued at $300. The investigation is pending.
A representative of Dollar General told police on Wednesday, May 3, a subject had attempted to steal items valued at $59.50, between 4:50-5:04 pm.
The property was recovered, and the suspect was gone when officers arrived.
The representative said he did not wish to press charges. The subject has been banned from the store.
Police closed the case, pending further information.
Bradley J. Merillat, 29, 423 Ditto St., reported avionics equipment for an airplane, valued at $412, was stolen from his front porch after it was delivered by the post office.
The theft occurred between 2:20 pm, Wednesday, May 3, and 11 am, Thursday, May 4.
Police closed the case.
