Theft Cases Reported

A theft report and an attempted theft were referred to Archbold police.

Andrew Moreno, 20, 206 Stryker Street, told police Sunday, May 26, a video game console was stolen from his home.

Moreno said on that day, between 9:30 and 10:40 pm, he and his family were in the back yard. The front door was unlocked.

Someone apparently entered the home, went to an upstairs bedroom, and took an X Box 360 console and one game. Nothing else was missing.

Value: $253.26.


Jim Wyse, Archbold mayor, told police Sunday, May 26, he was contacted by someone who said two persons, possibly high school-age girls, attempted to steal the street signs from the intersection of Olds and Flory lanes.

The signs were pulled off the pole but left lying on the ground, which occurred between 10:45-10:50 pm.
