Three cases involving telecommunications harassment were reported to Archbold police recently.
Torie Hale, 22, Wauseon, told police at 7:45 am, Monday, Aug. 20, he had received a threatening message via a social media website. He told officers he was in fear of his safety.
Officers are investigating.
Officers are also investigating a complaint filed by Heather Hernandez-Grime, 34, Archbold.
Hernandez-Grime said that she had been receiving insulting text messages. She filed her report at 5:30 pm, Aug. 20.
Kelli L. Weasel, 37, Archbold, complained to police on Wednesday, Aug. 22, that she had been receiving unwanted messages from a person in Columbus for about three months. She wants the communications to stop.
Police contacted the person who was sending the messages, and advised if the messages persisted, charges could be filed.
