SUV, Pickup Collide At Intersection




A sport-utility vehicle and pickup collided at the intersection of East Lutz Rd. and North Clyde’s Way (Co. Rd. 22) about 4:58 pm, Friday, Sept. 29.

The Archbold police report states Floyd Galen Plank, 60, rural Wauseon, was driving a pickup east on East Lutz Road.

He drove through the red traffic signal at North Clyde’s Way.

He collided with an SUV, driven by Teresa L. Van Sickle, 49, rural Archbold, in the intersection. Plank’s pickup rolled onto its passenger side, then struck a pole suspending the traffic signals on the southeast corner of the intersection.

Plank suffered non-incapacitating injuries, and was taken to the Fulton County Health Center by Archbold Rescue. Information on his condition was not available from the Fulton County Health Center.

Van Sickle was not injured.

Plank was cited for disobeying a traffic signal.
