Streaks Win Forward Duals Championship

Archbold hosted and won the 33rd annual Chuck Forward Duals, Saturday, Jan. 22, in the Thunderdome.

Ayersville, Bryan, Defiance, Edgerton, Lake, Maumee, Paulding, Toledo St. Francis, Toledo St. John, and Wauseon joined the Streaks in the annual affair.

The Blue Streaks took home the championship with a 5-0 record. Archbold defeated Paulding 77-6, Bryan 65-12 and Maumee 83-0 to win their round-robin pool.

In the finals pool, the Streaks defeated Ayersville 48-28 and Lake 51-30 to claim the championship.

Ayersville finished second, defeating Lake 45-36.

Five Blue Streaks finished undefeated.

Jordan Rodriguez (113 pounds), Brodie Dominique (144 lbs.), Dylan Aeschliman

(215 lbs.), and Spencer Simon (285 lbs.) went 5-0, while Mason Miller (106 lbs.) was 4-0.

Jack Buchhop (120 lbs.), Gabe Chapa (138 lbs.), Ian Grime (150 lbs.), Rusty Short (157 lbs.), and Hayden Dickman (190 lbs.) all went 4-1.
