Streaks Sweep Lamberson Invitational

Archbold swept the Lamberson Invitational Track and Field Meet, Saturday, May 10, in Montpelier, winning both the boys and girls meets.

The Streak girls won with a team score of 110. Patrick Henry was second with 90. Pettisville was fifth with 65.5.

AHS won the boys meet with 95 points. Edgerton was second with 78. Pettisville was eighth with 45.

The Streaks won seven events. Autumn Lantz was a four-time winner. She captured the 100-meter dash, 200, and was on the 4×100-meter relay and 4×200 first-place teams.

Ashlie Horst, Melinda Sauder, and Katherine Moody were also on the winning 4×100 and 4×200 teams.

Katrina Gobrogge won the 800; Trisha King won the 1600; and both were on the winning 4×800 team along with Nikki Rupp and Laura Bowman.

Archbold won four events. Garrett Waidelich won the 100 and was on the winning 4×100 team. Michael Volkman won the 800; Breon Price won the long jump and was on the 4×100 first-place team, along with Noah Keefer and Nate Hammersmith.

Pettisville won three events. Austin Borton won the 1600; Alex Frey won the 3200. Borton, Lincoln Frey, Chris Matthews, and A. Frey won the 4×800.
