Streaks Beat Stryker Panthers, Locomotives

Archbold traveled to Stryker, Tuesday, Dec. 18, and came home with a 67-42 non-league victory.

The Panthers dropped to 1-4.

Archbold had little trouble with their neighbors to the west, jumping out to a 21-7 first-quarter lead and 33-18 at the break.

The Streaks outscored the Panthers 14-13 in the third and 20-11 in the fourth to register the win.

The Blue and Gold placed three in double digits. Zeb Frank led the way with 16 points. Tyson Dietrich and Luke Fisher chipped in 13 and 12 points, respectively.

Parker Ruffer led the Panthers with 10.

Archbold connected on 15- 22 from the foul line while the Panthers hit 11-14.

Archbold out-rebounded its host 24-21, led by Fisher and Dietrich with six each.

AHS 71, Montpelier 22

The Streaks scored in double figures in every quarter while the Locos were in single digits.

Archbold outscored the Locos 15-5 in the first period and 19-5 in the second for a 34-10 halftime lead.

The Streaks won the third period 23-5 and the fourth, 14-7, for the victory.

A trio of Blue Streaks scored in double figures. Tyson Schnitkey and Dietrich led AHS with 12 points each. Devin Shannon scored 11.

Parker Houk led Montpelier with 10 points.

The Streaks were 7-10 at the foul line, while the Locos were 1-2.

Archbold raised its record to 5-1, 1-1 NWOAL. Montpelier dropped to 1-5, 0-2 NWOAL.
