The Archbold golf team placed second in the 15-team Stryker Invitational, Saturday, Sept. 6.
The host Panthers won with a score of 301. The Streaks were 10 strokes behind, with a team score of 311. Ottoville rounded out the top three with 318. Pettisville was 15th with 503.
Steven Kinsman and Jacob Nafziger were low men for AHS with scores of 74 in the 18-hole event. Tyson Bostelman had an 81, while Jarrett Yoder had 82.
AHS 151, Liberty Center 158
Kinsman tied with Liberty Center’s Evan Weaks for match medalist honors in Archbold’s 151-158 victory, Tuesday, Sept. 2. Each was even par with scores of 36 on a sunny day in the 90-degree range.
