Stacy Lee Vereecke, age 46, of Archbold, passed away Dec. 17, 2012, after a long battle with Multiple Sclerosis.
He was born on May 27, 1966, to Richard and Sonja (Randall) Vereecke, in Wauseon. He married Buffie Slattman on May 24, 1986.
He served his country in the United States Army Special Forces for seven years as a chemical specialist and served in the Persian Gulf War.
He worked at Wauseon Machine and then at Sauder Woodworking.
He was a member of Archbold Evangelical Church, Veterans of Foreign Wars and the American Legion.
Survivors include his loving wife, Buffie; daughter, Marissa (Ben) Bresson, Wisconsin; and son, Brett Vereecke, Archbold.
A memorial service will be held on Friday at 11 a.m. at the Archbold Evangelical Church. Interment will precede at 9 a.m. in the East Monroe Cemetery, near Continental.
Friends may call in the Fireside Room of the church from 2-8 p.m. on Thursday.
