Two Archbold seniors have been selected to play in the Defiance Area Six-County All-Star baseball game, Friday, May 25, 6:30 p.m., at Bryan.

Tanner Wyse, Blue Streak catcher, and Dylan Wyse, an outfielder, will represent Archbold.

Tanner led AHS in hitting with a .426 batting average, and is considered one of the top defensive catchers in northwest Ohio. He will continue his baseball career and education at Huntington (Ind.) College.

“Dylan has always been an excellent outfielder, but really came on strong at the plate in the last half of the season as he finished with a .321 batting average,” said Dick Selgo, AHS head coach.

The game pits players from Fulton, Henry, and Putnam Counties against players from Defiance, Williams, and Paulding counties.
