Sentenced For Forging Check At Local Store

A woman who forged a check for $286.39 at Archbold SuperValu Foods has been sentenced to 11 months in prison.

Natalie Slife, 29, Sidney, was originally indicted on a single count of forgery on March 21, 2016, after forging the check on or about Feb. 16, 2016.

In addition to her prison term, she was ordered to pay any fees, including court-appointed attorney fees, all costs of prosecution, and restitution to Archbold SuperValu.

She is currently an inmate at the Ohio Reformatory for Women, Marysville, serving a 39-month sentence on forgery charges from six other counties and a drug trafficking charge.
