Semi Collides With Transformer, Cuts Power To Local Factory Friday

A semi truck, driven by Kuljeet Singh, Selma, Calif., struck a transformer near the Sauder Woodworking Brush Creek plant about 6:54 pm, Friday, Nov. 16, knocking out power to the factory.

The Archbold Police report states Singh had pulled the semi, owned by Bull Dog Trucking, Fresno, Calif., into the truck dock area on the north side of the factory building, and was attempting to turn around, but the semi jackknifed.

As Singh was straightening the truck and trailer, the trailer wheels went over a curb and struck the ground-mounted transformer.

The report states Singh left the scene of the accident, but was later located at another Archbold business.
