Jayson Selgo, AHS ‘01, was recently named principal of Ottawa-Glandorf High School.
“It’s an excellent district, with an excellent community, with excellent community support,” Selgo said.
“It’s a good opportunity for myself to be part of that district, and for my family to be part of the community.”
Selgo graduated from Bowling Green State University with a teaching degree for integrated social studies in 2005. He played baseball there for four years.
He taught social studies for four years at Norwalk High School while coaching football, basketball, baseball, and softball.

Selgo served as principal of North Central junior high and high school for two years, from 2010-12.
“When I entered education, I always wanted to get into administration,” he said.
“I didn’t want to be a teacher for 30 years.”
His wife Olivia (Schnitkey) is an ‘03 AHS graduate. She received a degree in education with an emphasis on teaching hearing-impaired students from BGSU in 2007. She works through the Northwest Ohio Educational Service Center.
