Scooter Crashes After Hitting Gravel on Road

Otis H. Hitt, 84, Archbold was taken to the Archbold Medical Group by private vehicle after the scooter he was riding crashed about 9:35 pm, Tuesday, Nov. 3

The Fulton County Sheriff Department report states Hitt was riding eastbound on St. Rt. 2, and as he turned north onto Co. Rd. 24, he rode across gravel in the roadway, which caused him to fall.

Robert J. Davis, 78, Liberty Center, was in a onevehicle accident about 8:57 am, Monday, Nov. 2, when the pickup he was driving struck a road-closed barricade.

The FCSD report states Davis was traveling west on Co. Rd. D, and struck the barricade at the Co. Rd. 18 intersection.

Paul E. Sigg, 79, Archbold, was involved in a mishap about 8:16 pm, Friday, Nov. 6, when the car he was driving struck a deer.

Sigg was traveling south on Co. Rd. 18, with passenger Barbara J. Sigg, 73, same address, when the mishap occurred about a halfmile north of US20A.

Ruth Ann Beach, 50, Archbold, was involved in a crash Wednesday, Nov. 4 about 7:34 pm, where her auto struck a deer on St. Rt. 66.

She was traveling north and collided with the deer about a half-mile south of Co. Rd. L.
