Rosanne Egler, age 59, of Archbold and formerly of Defiance, passed away early Saturday, May 5, 2012 at the Fulton County Health Center in Wauseon.
Prior to her retirement she had worked for McDonald’s for 13 years.
Mrs. Egler was born on Oct. 31, 1952, the daughter of Lowell and Donna (Spire) Sauder.
On May 7, 1983, she married Carl Egler, Sr. and he preceded her in death in 2006.
She attended the Archbold United Methodist Church.
Surviving is one son, Matthew (Kim) Egler of Defiance; two grandchildren, Jordan and Madison of Defiance; four stepchildren, April Egler of Crowley, Texas, Terry Egler of Bryan, Carl Egler, Jr. of Jewell, and Tom Egler of Stryker.
Also surviving is her mother, Donna Sauder of Archbold; brothers, Lee (Betty) Sauder of Archbold, Dean (Darlene) Sauder of Archbold, Paul (Donna) Sauder of Montpelier, and sister Diane (Joe) Sturdavant of Perrysburg.
Also surviving are aunts, uncles and cousins.
Preceding her in death besides her husband was her father.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, at the Grisier Funeral Home in Archbold with the Rev. David David officiating. Interment will follow in the Independence Cemetery near Defiance.
Friends may call at the Grisier Funeral Home in Archbold on Tuesday from 4-8 p.m.
