Report Traffic Crashes




Three vehicle crashes were reported to Archbold police between Oct. 6-11.

An unknown vehicle was traveling north on South Lincoln Street, Friday afternoon, Oct. 6. The vehicle turned left to go west on East Mechanic Street, but drove over the curb on the north side of the road and struck a large decorative rock.

The police report states the vehicle dragged the rock several feet before driving over it, then left the scene. Tire marks were observed in the wet grass.

The mishap was believed to have occurred between 1:30-3:30 pm.

A crash occurred in the drive-thru lane at the Mc- Donald’s about 10:55 pm, Tuesday, Oct. 10.

Linda Lynn Johnson, 55, rural Wauseon, started to pull away from the serving window and began to turn right to avoid a vehicle waiting for a food order.

As Johnson began to turn, she stopped to allow another vehicle to pass on the right.

A second car, driven by Angela L. Hayes, 27, Napoleon, pulled forward. Hayes and Johnson collided.

A crash occurred in the Archbold High School parking lot about 3:28 pm, Wednesday, Oct. 11.

A car driven by Kelly Bilen 16, Archbold, was traveling north in the parking lot while a second vehicle, driven by Keyndal Addison Hudson, 16, rural Archbold, was backing out of a parking space. They collided.

No injuries resulted from the three crashes.
