Matt Leech, 208 West Street, told police five tomato plants, valued at $5 each, were stolen from a garden at his home sometime between 2 pm, Tuesday, June 17, and 2 am the following day.
Thom Ross, Archbold Police assistant chief, said Leech told officers he had planted the tomato plants alongside his garage. Also taken were two decorative stakes, valued at $20.
Loss: $45.
