Disc jockey equipment valued at $900 was among the items taken from vehicles parked at the Holland Court Apartments, an Archbold police report said.
Jeffrey W. Lawson, 45, a resident of Holland Court, told officers his vehicle, a minivan, was unlocked when it was parked at the complex. The theft occurred sometime between 9 pm, Thursday, June 23, and 6:10 am, Friday, June 24.
Taken were an audio mixer, valued at $400, and five wireless microphones, with a total value of $500.
In another case, Joseph James Massengill, 18, another Holland Court resident, told police that between 9 pm, Thursday, and 4 am, Friday, an in-dash car stereo and $30 in cash were stolen from his vehicle. The vehicle was unlocked.
Police are investigating both thefts.
