Ray Trejo, age 77 years, of Archbold, passed away Friday morning, Feb. 16, 2018, at Heartland of Wauseon.
He was born Jan. 2, 1941, at Eagle Pass, Texas, a son of Juan and Ada Trejo.
A lifelong resident of the Archbold area, he worked at Con Agra. He enjoyed fishing, photography, and was a big Buckeye fan of the Cleveland Indians and the Browns.
He is survived by five children, Tony Trejo and Thomas Trejo, both of Bryan; Rueben (Lora) Trejo of Ridgeville Corners; Patrick Trejo and April (Hector) Velez, both of Archbold; nine grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; one brother, Roy Trejo of Archbold; three sisters, Gloria Abila of Woodsboro, Texas, Mary Gonzales of Archbold, and Stella Rodriquez of Pocomoke City, Md.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers.
A memorial service will be held today, Wednesday, at 6 p.m. at Short Funeral Home in Archbold with Pastor Hector Velez officiating.
Friends may call in the funeral home from 4-6 p.m., today, Wednesday. A memorial Mass will be held on Thursday at 10:30 a.m. at St. Peter Catholic Church in Archbold. www.ShortFuneralHome.com.
