Prosecutor Declines To Prosecute Man

Tera Rodgers, an Archbold police officer, said the Fulton County prosecutor office has declined to prosecute a person on a charge of assault.

An Archbold man told police he was assaulted by another man while removing items from a garage at Walt’s House, a home for homeless men, about 5:45 pm, Monday, Feb. 20.

The report said the complainer told officers he had gotten into an argument with the person.

The report states, “in the course of the argument the RP (reporting party) had been taken to the ground twice where he received several abrasions. RP also stated that during the argument the suspect had threatened to kill him.”

People didn’t always say “hello” when they answered the phone. When the first regular phone service was established in 1878, people said “ahoy.”

If all the world’s water were fit into a gallon jug, the fresh water available for us to use would equal only about one tablespoon.
