The Archbold High School football team volunteered to assist in the cleanup efforts for the unfortunate victims of the Saturday, June 5, tornado that struck southeastern Fulton County.
They volunteered to do the heavy work of clearing downed trees and brush.
Our community always takes pride in its youth. Rarely do they let us down, and every so often they do something extra special that deserves comment.
The boys spent an afternoon of summer vacation helping others. They came forward to help others in time of need.
Bryan Miller, Ryan Sell, and Cameron Thompson, AHS football coaches, do a great job leading our youth. Without their support, the boys would not have been able to assist the tornado victims.
Our boys and girls will be our leaders of the future. They’ve proven once again the future appears to be in good hands.
