The Archbold Police Department, in cooperation with Fulton County Healthy Choices Caring Communities and the federal Drug Enforcement Administration, will participate in National Prescription Drug Take Back Day.
The program provides an opportunity for people to safely dispose of unused or expired prescription medications.
Medication in solid forms (such as tablets or capsules) will be accepted at the Archbold Police Station, Saturday, April 28, 10 am to 2 pm.
Intravenous solutions, injectibles, and syringes will not be accepted.
DEA officials say medicines that languish in home medicine cabinets are highly susceptible to diversion, misuse, and abuse.
