An official of ARS, Inc., Archbold, told police that a possible attempted theft of confidential business information had been discovered.
In a report filed Thursday, March 21, a representative of ARS told police a person had been fired from the company. Upon termination of the worker’s employment, company officials seized two computer hard drives, which contained company information.
The ARS company official told officers he believed the person who had been terminated was attempting to steal the information and sell it to competitors.
The company official told officers the company wanted a report on file for its attorney, in regard to possible future legal action.
