Breaking News: Shindig Is On!

Police Release Two Crash Reports



Archbold police released reports on two vehicle mishaps that occurred on Wednesday, Jan. 20.

The first happened at 3:38 pm, when a mini pickup, driven by Austin Welch, 17, Archbold, was traveling west on Lafayette Street, and was slowing for the stop sign at the Co. Rd. 24 intersection.

Following Welch was a second pickup, driven by Cara Foor, 18, rural Archbold. They collided. No injuries.

Foor was cited for failure to maintain the proper space between vehicles.

The second occurred at 4:04 pm. A semi, driven by Robert Huggins, 51, Tomball, Texas, was backing a semi into a Sauder Woodworking loading dock in the 300 block of West Lugbill Road and struck a parked mini pickup owned by Michael Zuver, Swanton. No injuries.
