Archbold police made two arrests last week, police reports state.
Brent Reggie Reynolds, 55, rural Wauseon, walked into the police station about 11:31 pm, Wednesday, March 3, and told officers the Henry County Sheriff Department was trying to contact him.
Checks revealed the Napoleon Municipal Court issued a warrant for Reynolds’ arrest on a charge of felonious assault. An Archbold officer took Reynolds into custody and transported him to the Corrections Center of Northwest Ohio.
Court records indicate that during a hearing the following day, bond was set at $15,000, with 10% allowed. He is currently free on bond.
John W. Reeb, 38, Archbold, was arrested by Archbold police after an incident at his residence at 305 Union Street, Thursday, March 4.
A report states Archbold officers were contacted that day by Defiance County Adult Probation, asking that APD attempt to locate a subject, identified as Reeb, who is on record with its office. If the subject was located, DCAP asked that APD take him into custody.
Police went to Reeb’s home about 2:18 pm.
“The suspect was located, having barricaded themselves in the basement of the home,” the report said.
“The suspect attempted to flee through a basement window, but was taken into custody and then transported to CCNO.”
In addition to charges from Defiance County, Reeb faces Fulton County charges. As of Sunday night, March 7, he was being held at the Corrections Center of Northwest Ohio.
