An Archbold police officer investigated a disorderly conduct incident in the area of the Archbold Community Library on Friday, Feb. 19.
Sonya Huser, library director, told officers the youths were swearing and yelling, and advised that a library patrol reported there was some kind of physical altercation going on.
When an officer arrived, he advised there were juveniles in the area, but they appeared to be playing, not fighting.
After speaking with Huser, the officer reported making contact with all juveniles and their parents.
“I advised all parties that should not happen again,” the officer wrote.
“As multiple subjects involved were on probation and community control, this report will be forwarded to juvenile probation.”
The case was closed with no charges filed.
