Archbold police and Fulton County sheriff deputies assisted with traffic control during the Friday, July 8, fire at the Kenn-Feld Group, formerly Liechty Farm Equipment.
Leo Wixom, interim assistant police chief, said when the Archbold Fire Department initially received the call, there were two officers on duty.
One was conducting an interview at the Corrections Center of Northwest Ohio.
Wixom said Archbold police called for assistance from the Fulton County Sheriff Department for traffic control.
Tracy Zuver, chief deputy sheriff, said two deputies were dispatched to Archbold.
When the Archbold officer finished the interview, he returned to the village, and the sheriff deputies were released.
At 8 pm, another Archbold officer came on duty, giving Archbold three officers to help direct traffic.
