Police Arrest Woman For Domestic Violence

Kristeen Campbell, 32, Sheridan, Ark., was arrested by Archbold police on a charge of domestic violence, Wednesday, June 26, an Archbold police report states.

Police were dispatched to a report of a domestic troubles case that had become physical about 5:03 pm on the day of the report.

When officers arrived, they discovered the victim, Amber Nicole Stephens, 18, of Sallisaw, Okla., had receive apparent injuries.

In their report, officers wrote that they conducted interviews and determined there was a physical altercation between family members.

Officers placed Campbell, who they determined was the primary physical aggressor, under arrest. She was transported to the Corrections Center of Northwest Ohio without incident, the report states.

Records available over the Internet indicate Campbell was in Western District Court, where she entered a no-contest plea. She was fined $150 with $83 in court costs, and was to serve 30 days in jail, with credit for two days served.

As of late Sunday afternoon, July 7, she was still being held at CCNO.
