Pickup, SUV, Car, Semi In Crashes

Jenale M. Horst, 32, Archbold, was treated and released following a two-vehicle accident on South Defiance Street, about 95 feet south of the East Mechanic Street intersection, at 5:54 pm, Thursday, June 27.

The Archbold police crash report states Horst was a passenger in an SUV driven by Brandon K. Fry, 32, with second passenger Kolbi Horst, 14. The Horsts and Fry have the same address.

Fry was driving northbound on South Defiance Street, and had stopped in traffic.

A pickup truck, driven by Christopher Corbin Vonier, 19, Archbold, was traveling north behind Fry. They collided.

Archbold Rescue transported

Jenale Horst to FCHC. There were no other injuries.

Vonier was cited for failure to maintain an assured clear distance ahead.

A car and a semi truck collided on South Defiance Street about 285 feet north of Schlatter Street about 12:07 am, Tuesday, June 11, a police report states.

A car, driven by Joshua A. Miller, 29, Archbold, was backing out of a private driveway on the west side of South Defiance Street and into the path of a southbound semi driven and owned by Mehemd Miljkovic, 57, Fort Wayne, Ind. They collided.

No injuries. Miller was cited for violating rules for starting and backing.
