The Pettisville volleyball team raised its Buckeye Border Conference record to 2-0 with a 25-11, 25-14, 25-23 victory at Fayette, Thursday, Sept. 13.
The Birds lost to Delta in a non-league match 11-25, 18-25, 22-25, Monday, Sept. 10.
PHS is 3-5 on the season.

The Birds were 68/72 in serving and 60/71 in attacks against the Eagles.
Katie Weber had nine kills while Jodi Spotts had six and Jessica Henrie and Haley Nofziger each had five. Karina Rohrer-Meck was a perfect 55/55 in setting.
PHS had seven solo blocks. Nofziger had four; Spotts, two; and Henrie, one.
Rohrer-Meck, Jordan Riegsecker, and Chelsea Schmucker each had two aces.
The PHS junior varsity beat the Eagles 18-25, 25-23, 27-25.

The Birds were 43/51 in serve reception and 47/56 in attacks in the loss to the Panthers.
Nofziger was 11/11 in serving, had four kills, and had two solo blocks. Weber had five kills; Rohrer-Meck was 24/25 in setting. Spotts and Schmucker each had two kills; Henrie had a solo block.
The Delta JV won 25-16, 25- 15.
