PHS Boys Third, Girls Sixth At Edgerton




 

 

Lincolnview won the boys race and Liberty Center took the girls race at the Edgerton Invitational, Saturday, Sept. 29.

Thirteen teams participated in the boys race in which Pettisville placed third.

Eleven teams ran in the girls race. Pettisville finished sixth.

Boys

Dominic Frey was first to finish for PHS. He placed fifth in 16 minutes, 55 seconds.

Tanner Rufenacht was 14th in 17:26, and Jeremy Mann was 16th in 17:35. Kyle Lantz placed 25th in 18:13.

Jacob Hauter was the last scoring PHS runner, finishing 33rd in 18:28.

Wayne Trace’s Arlen Stoller won in 16:42.

Girls

Carley Hoffmire was the first Blackbird to cross the finish line. She placed 27th in 22:27.

Samantha Shinhearl was 29th in 22:34, and Grace Friend was 43rd in 23:10. Emily Eicher placed 45th in 23:32.

Taylor D’Alelio was Pettisville’s final scoring runner. She finished 58th in 24:27.

LC’s Brittany Atkinson defended her title, winning in 18:29. The Tigers had five of the top six finishers.
