Eight Pettisville High School accounting students earned awards in an accounting competition sponsored by the University of Findlay earlier this month.

Breanna Holsopple, a junior, earned first place in the Accounting 1 division. She will receive a scholarship for her finish.

In the same division, Alyssa Beck and Jimmie Baatz tied for second place, and Lucas Nofziger finished eighth.

In the Accounting 2 division, seniors Jodi Spotts and Josh Bruner tied for second, with Logan Frey earning fourth and Hannah Beck finishing fifth.
