The Pettisville softball team split two games last week, falling to Holgate but winning its first game of the season in a 20-19 slugfest over Emmanuel Christian.

The Tigers visited Pettisville Monday, April 8, and scored in every inning to take home a 13-1 win over the Birds.
Mackenzie Morgan suffered the loss on the mound. In three innings she allowed eight runs on seven hits, struck out four, and walked two.
The Birds had four hits. Morgan had a double, while Starr Kessinger, Mya Meck, and Angie Rosillo each had a single.

Pettisville scored the winning run in the bottom of the seventh inning as the Birds defeated Emmanuel Christian 20-19, Friday, April 12, at Pettisville.
Kenzi Rivera was the winning pitcher. In four innings she allowed nine runs on six hits, struck out five, and walked two.
The Birds had 14 hits. Elise Hartzler had three singles, while Kessinger had two doubles. Morgan had a double and a single, and Rosillo had two singles.
