The Pettisville School Board granted pay increases of 2% to the school district administrators and support staff.
The action followed a 90-minute executive session held at its Monday, July 14 meeting.
Steve Switzer, district superintendent, will see his annual salary increase by $1,888, from $94,396 to $96,284.
Chris Lee, district treasurer, received a $1,200 pay hike, seeing his salary boosted to $61,200.
Michael Lane and Jason Waldvogel both received larger pay raises, because both were rewarded for years of service on the salary schedule.
Lane, the high school principal, saw his salary jump 9.5%, from $74,778, to $81,884, an increase of $7,106.
Waldvogel, the elementary school principal, will get a 9.79% raise, taking his salary from $67,902 to $74,550. That’s a $6,648 increase.
District support staff also received 2% pay hikes.
All raises were retroactive to July 1, the start of the district’s new fiscal year.
Earlier this year, district teachers agreed to a contract with the board that granted them a 2% pay hike. – D.J. Neuenschwander
