Pettisville won its sixth straight Buckeye Border Conference girls track and field title, Saturday, May 11, at Stryker.

It is Pettisville’s 15th title in school history, and 11th BBC title in the last 12 years.

The Birds finished with 141 points.

Edon was second with 117.

“I’m very proud of the girls for their hard work and dedication to continue on with this run of excellence,” said Gabe Jaramillo, co-head PHS coach.

“It’s easy to slip up and lose focus, but these girls kept each other accountable to their roles in securing a BBC championship.

“The leadership we have on this team is by far strong and resilient.”
