Diane Sessen, Archbold, reported her mother, Gertrude Selover, Archbold, gave out her personal information over the telephone.
Sessen told Archbold police officers that between 5:30 and 6 pm, Wednesday, Nov. 24, Selover received a call from someone who said they represented the federal Medicare program. The person asked for personal information.
The police report states Sessen and Selover were advised to contact all financial institutions Selover does business with, along with her doctor and pharmacist.
No illegal activity was immediately noted in any of Selover’s accounts, the report states.
