A man who was allegedly shooting a paintball gun from the window of his second-story apartment, has been charged with criminal damaging, Martin Schmidt, Archbold Police chief said Monday.

Schmidt said Chad A. Newman, 24, of 101 1/2 Pleasant Street, was allegedly shooting a paintball gun out his window, at buildings and passing trains.

Schmidt said Tyler J. Wyse, 24, the downstairs tenant, at 101 Pleasant, told officers he asked Newman to cease fire, because paintballs were striking his auto. When Newman refused, he called the police.
